General Information about the Journal "Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics"
The periodical scientific and technical journal "Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics" was founded in 1970. In the period from 1970 to 2009 it was published as the collection of scientific and technical papers "Theoretical and Applied Mechanics", from 2009 to 2014 - as the scientific journal "Theoretical and Applied Mechanics".
In the period from 1986 to 1998 collection of scientific and technical papers "Theoretical and Applied Mechanics" was translated into English and republished in the USA by the Plenum publishing house in the form of issues of the journals with impact factors "Journal of Soviet Mathematics" and "Journal of Mathematical Sciences", and the publications included in these issues were reflected in the world's leading scientific databases, including the Scopus database.
Since 01.01.2016 it has been published under the title "Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics" (ISSN 0136-4545).
The journal publishes new results of original theoretical and experimental research, as well as generalizing and review articles on the problems of theoretical mechanics, deformable solid mechanics, fluid, gas and plasma mechanics, mathematical modeling and numerical methods in mechanics, structural mechanics, geomechanics, rock destruction, mine aerodynamics and mining thermal physics.
Previously unpublished articles in Russian and English are accepted for consideration and placement in the journal.
The journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of science, for the degree of doctor of sciences (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR No. 616 of 14.07.2021) should be published.
The journal is included in the list of RSCI (License Agreement No. 27-01 / 2020 dated 23.01.2020).
The journal is registered as a media outlet of the DPR (registration certificate: AAA series No. 0078 dated November 21, 2016).
The publication is intended for a wide range of specialists in the field of theoretical and applied mechanical and mathematical modeling.
The editorial board of the journal includes prominent specialists, scientists with recognized achievements in the branches of science represented by the journal.
