RULES FOR AUTHORS
1. Editorial board of the journal "Bulletin of Donetsk National University. Series G: Technical Sciences" accepts for consideration for publication in the journal previously unpublished and not submitted for simultaneous publication in other publications scientific articles on the subject of the journal.
2. The authors of articles are personally responsible for the presence of plagiarism elements in the texts of articles, for the completeness and reliability of the stated facts and provisions, and for the fact of their publication. It is allowed to publish no more than one article from one author in one issue and to have no more than five authors of one article. One of the authors must have an academic degree, and students and undergraduates cannot be co-authors.
3. By the authors to the editorial office's e-mail address vestnik.g@mail.ru An electronic version of the full text of the article (in Russian or English) in docx format is sent. The recommended length of the article is from 7 to 17 pages, including figures, tables, lists of sources, and information about the authors. Articles that do not comply with the Rules for Authors or the subject of the journal are not accepted for consideration. All articles accepted for review are subject to peer review and, in case of a positive review, scientific and technical editing.
4. The decision on publication, publication after revision/revision or rejection of the article is made by the editorial board of the journal. If the article is recommended for publication after a small revision by the author, the editorial board sends comments to the authors of the article (without specifying the reviewer). An article sent to the authors for revision should be returned in its corrected form as soon as possible. The revised article must be accompanied by a letter from the authors containing answers to all comments and explaining all the changes made in the article. In case of rejection of an article, the editorial board sends the authors a review (without specifying the reviewer) or excerpts from it, or a reasoned letter from the editor. The editorial board does not enter into a discussion with the authors of rejected articles, except in cases of obvious misunderstanding.
5. Mandatory requirements for the design of articles:
- Paper size: А4.
- Orientation: portrait
- Margins: mirrored, top – 30 mm, bottom – 30 mm, inside – 30 mm, outside – 20 mm.
- The position of the header and footer relative to the edge: 2 cm
- Line spacing: single.
- The main text of the article: paragraph indentation of 1 cm, Times New Roman font, size 12 pt., with width alignment, without automatic hyphenation.
- Abstract, list of sources, information about the authors: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt., with width alignment, without automatic hyphenation.
- Captions, title and table contents: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt., centered, without automatic hyphenation.
6. The text of the article should correspond to the following structural scheme:
- First line: reserved to accommodate the EDN and DOI identifiers.
- Second line: UDC index – left alignment, without paragraph indentation.
- Separated by a line: The TITLE of the article is bold, centered, in capital letters, without hyphenation, without paragraph indentation.
- Separated by a line: copyright © and year – bold, left-aligned, then last name(s) and initials of the author(s)– bold, italics, left alignment, without paragraph indentation.
- In two lines: abstract of up to 100 words, briefly reflecting the subject of the article, the applied research methods and the main results obtained by the authors.
- On the next line: the phrase Keywords: – bold, italics. The following are keywords of up to 10, separated from each other by a comma. It is recommended to separate the annotation and keywords block from the main text using the Borders tool.
- In two lines: the main text of the article, which contains the introduction, the main part and conclusions. In the introduction, it is recommended to present the problem statement in a general way and the connection with the most important scientific and practical tasks, an analysis of recent studies and publications in which the solution of this problem has begun and on which the author relies, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the article is devoted, and the formulation of the objectives of the article. In the main part, it is recommended to present the main research materials with full justification of the scientific results obtained. It is recommended to structure the main part into sections with titles reflecting their content (for example: problem statement; methods of its solution; analysis of the results obtained). In the conclusions, it is recommended to briefly and clearly summarize the main results obtained by the authors and describe the prospects for further research in this area.
-Separated by a line: a phrase A LIST OF SOURCES 10 pt in size, bold, left-aligned, in capital letters, without paragraph indentation. Next, through a line with a 0.5 cm paragraph protrusion, a numbered list of sources used is provided in a general list in the order of mention in the original text in accordance with GOST R 7.0.100–2018 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation". The link to the source is given in square brackets. It is allowed to refer only to published works. It is necessary to have sources from the last 5-10 years on the issue under study.
- Separated by a line: the phrase REFERENCES LIST , 10 pt. in size, bold, left-aligned, in capital letters, without paragraph indentation. Next, a numbered list of sources is duplicated through a line with a 0.5 cm paragraph protrusion, in which English-language sources are given in the original language, and the remaining sources are given by transliteration of Cyrillic characters.
- Separated by a line: the inscription "Received by the editorial office xx.xx.20xx, recommended for publication xx.xx.20xx." size 10 pt., italics, right alignment.
- Separated by a line: the TITLE of the article is given, the surname(s) and initials of the author(s), abstract and keywords (Keywords) in English (translation) size 10 pt.
- Separated by a line: information about authors, 10 pt in size, in a table with the "No borders" parameter, containing two columns (for information in Russian and English):
- Last name, first name, patronymic;
- academic degree, academic title, position (indicating the organization);
- country, city;
- email address;
- is the ORCID identifier.
7. The figures and tables are arranged throughout the text strictly within the printed field of the book orientation of the pages after their first mention in the text of the article. All text information in the drawings should be clear and legible and have no unnecessary details. Each drawing must have a caption (not combined with the drawing) in the format: "Fig. no. Title". Each table must have a title in the format: "Table no. The name". In order to avoid shifting the drawings, it is recommended to place them in tables with two rows with the "No borders" parameter (in the first row - the drawing, in the second - the caption). All figures and tables must be numbered sequentially in Arabic numerals, and letters may be used when numbering figures consisting of several parts.
8. Formulas are aligned in the center and, if necessary, numbered end-to-end along the right edge. Only those formulas that are referenced in the text should be numbered. References to formulas are given in parentheses. It is recommended to use tables with the "No borders" parameter to align formulas. Each formula is separated from the main text by an interval of 6 pt. before and after. After the formulas, the punctuation mark is placed, which is necessary based on the construction of the phrase. Formulas, their components, and all variables in the text and separately in the lines are typed using the MathType formula editor with parameters:
- text and variable: oblique;
- matrix vector: bold oblique;
- size: regular - 12 pt., large index - 9 pt., small index - 7 pt., large symbol - 18 pt., small symbol - 12 pt.
